I was fortunate enough to grow up in Clyde Hill and Medina in the 1990s/2000s. After high school, I moved to Los Angeles and attended Occidental College, where I reignited my passion for acting and writing. After obtaining a degree in theatre, I decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry while bartending on the side. Serving drinks one night, a customer mentioned she had just sold a house and it piqued my interest.
Soon thereafter, I reevaluated the cost of chasing my dream in LA vs creating a new one back home in real estate. It wasn't much longer before I gave my two weeks notice.
After I returned to Seattle, I acquired three apartments to manage which helped me transition into sales. Since 2015, I have leveraged Windermere's fantastic reputation and built a business for myself working with all types of clients with all types of real estate needs. With the benefit of hindsight, I can't imagine myself doing anything else!
Interestingly enough, I believe my theatre background helped play a significant role in giving me the confidence necessary to communicate effectively with clients. I still enjoy writing screenplays and reading about film critique in my spare time.
